Our Employees

Jill Russell, Human Resources Assistant
With Continental, I’ve been able to explore my career path. I started as a well file clerk, quickly moved up to production analyst and now have made a big move to human resources. I love that there are so many opportunities to grow within the company. It makes coming to work extremely rewarding.
Carol Newman, Benefits Administration Supervisor
I came to Continental because I was impressed with Harold Hamm as a person and as a businessman. When other businesses were struggling, Mr. Hamm was determined to continue building the company into the success it is today. I also like Continental’s attitude toward wellness. I am continually challenged to enhance our benefits so we have competitive packages to offer our employees.
Ryan Nelson, Drilling Engineer
As a drilling engineer with multiple rigs in North Dakota, I enjoy the fact that every day is different. It is exciting to be at the forefront of developing a new strategic resource to increase our domestic oil production capabilities, and to be part of a company that is not only growing, but leading the way.
Candace Cantrell, Reservoir Engineer
As a reservoir engineer, I am a member of a team working on simulation, economics, well test analysis, reserves, budget and other evaluation methods for 40% of the company’s assets. Our work product is taken directly to company executives. There is no ladder that has to be climbed to get project approval.
Ken Ainsworth, Geophysical Manager
There are a great many enjoyable aspects to this job, but working with the people here has to be the most enjoyable part. The breadth and depth of talent here is simply amazing.
Ola K. Adisa, Geologist
The boost in confidence and morale you get from being able to present your ideas in front of management and the CEO, week in and week out, and being able to discuss the geology and the play concept with these individuals who have been in the industry for such a long time…it’s indispensable and extremely valuable.
