SUMMARY
Performs all necessary production engineering functions for a specified geographic area
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.   Other duties may be assigned. Monitors production operations, costs and profitability. Implements facility and well workover plans and procedures. Studies area for additional developmental drilling prospects. Prepares and reviews AFE's for capital expenditures. Reviews all expenditures for properties within the area. Analyzes production problems and directs action to be taken. Selects equipment to be utilized. Assures compliance with governmental requirements and company policies. Performs reservoir engineering functions as needed to support annual reserve and cash flow forecast report. Evaluates and prepares properties for divestment. Provides expert testimony for regulatory hearings.

 
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university and minimum of 10 years petroleum operations experience.
